Job Information Job Description Navigational Watchkeeping : Serves as a helmsman to steer the ship under an officer's orders and acts as a lookout for other vessels or obstacles. Deck Maintenance : Performs heavy upkeep, including rust removal (chipping), painting, and lubricating deck machinery like winches and cranes. Mooring & Anchoring : Operates the windlass and winches while docking or undocking. They are responsible for the physical handling and securing of mooring lines. Emergency & Safety : Central to survival operations, such as launching and operating lifeboats and responding to fire or flooding emergencies. Cargo Operations : Assists with loading and unloading, including the securing (lashing) of cargo and operating cargo gear. Skills and Qualifications: AT LEAST 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE AS ABLE SEAMAN WITH OR WITHOUT VALID US VISA  HOLDING VALID DOCUMENTS  Benefits JOB EMPLOYMENT
