Job Information Job Description Core Responsibilities (2026) Command & Control: Oversees all onboard operations, including navigation, maintenance, and personnel management. Safe Navigation: Plans voyages and plots courses, utilizing advanced electronic systems like ECDIS and radar while making critical decisions regarding weather and shipping lanes. Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Ensures the vessel strictly adheres to international maritime laws (SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW), flag state policies, and security plans (ISPS Code). Emergency Management: Takes direct command during search and rescue operations, fires, groundings, or heavy weather. Personnel & Leadership: Manages a multicultural crew, assigns daily tasks, conducts safety drills, and ensures crew welfare and mental health standards are met. Financial & Admin: Manages ship accounts, budgets, and coordinates with port authorities, customs, and immigration. Skills and Qualifications: AT LEAST 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE AS MASTER WITH OR WITHOUT VALID US VISA  HOLDING VALID DOCUMENTS  Benefits JOB EMPLOYMENT
