Margaritaville at Sea Welcomes Its One Millionth Guest

Margaritaville at Sea marked a major achievement on June 25 after welcoming its one millionth guest.

The passenger was honored during a special presentation onboard the Margaritaville at Sea Islander. According to the cruise line, the milestone also coincided with the second anniversary of the ship’s debut from Port Tampa Bay.

The celebration comes as Margaritaville at Sea prepares to introduce its third vessel, the Beachcomber, in January 2027. The ship is currently operating as Costa Cruises’ Costa Fortuna and will remain in service through the summer before entering drydock in late September 2026.

MJM Marine and Mivan were recently appointed to carry out a significant part of the vessel’s refurbishment as part of the multi-million-pound project.

Once the refit and rebranding are complete, the ship will launch as the Beachcomber in 2027. During its first season, it is expected to operate mostly week-long Caribbean cruises from its homeport in Miami.
