Norwegian Aqua Back in New York City for Another Season
The Norwegian Aqua has returned to New York City for its second homeport season in the U.S. Northeast.
After completing its winter deployment from PortMiami, the recently built vessel arrived at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal to begin a new series of sailings.
The 2025-built ship is now operating cruises ranging from five to eight nights, all featuring extended visits to Bermuda. Each itinerary includes a call at the Royal Naval Dockyard, with stays lasting between two and three days depending on the cruise length.
*Aqua’s *New York season is scheduled to continue through mid-October before the vessel heads back to Miami for the winter program.
Norwegian Cruise Line will also have three additional ships sailing from New York during 2026. The Norwegian Escape is set to join the *Aqua *in late August, offering cruises to the Caribbean as well as Canada and New England. Its late summer and fall deployment from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal will continue through late September.
Following a summer season in Europe, the Norwegian Sun will make a single visit to New York in October. The ship, which is scheduled to leave Norwegian’s fleet in 2027, will arrive after completing a trans-Atlantic crossing before beginning a repositioning voyage to Miami.
In November, the Norwegian Bliss will take over the company’s New York homeport operations for the winter season, operating cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Its schedule includes eight-night itineraries to Florida and the Bahamas with calls in Port Canaveral, Nassau, and Norwegian’s private island destination, Great Stirrup Cay. Longer Caribbean sailings will visit ports including Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, Basseterre in St. Kitts, Philipsburg in St. Maarten, and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.
After entering service earlier this year, the Norwegian Luna is also expected to make its first appearance in New York City ahead of the 2027 summer season.
