Adora Magic City Begins First Cruise Season from Shenzhen
The Adora Magic City departed from Shekou Cruise Homeport in Shenzhen on August 13, beginning its first international cruise operation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The five-day voyage is sailing to Vietnam and marks another step in Adora Cruises’ continued expansion across southern China.
The cruise line is also preparing to introduce the Adora Flora City, which is scheduled to be delivered on November 6. The new ship is then expected to begin its maiden voyage from Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Homeport on November 22.
Shenzhen celebrated the arrival and first sailing of the Adora Magic City with a traditional water salute. Following the vessel’s arrival at the port, its captain and a representative from Shenzhen Shekou International Cruise Homeport exchanged commemorative plaques to mark the occasion.
The ship’s Shenzhen season is scheduled to continue until September 16. During this period, the Adora Magic City will operate a selection of international cruises, including regular five- and six-day voyages visiting destinations in Vietnam and South Korea.
One of the highlights of the deployment will be the nine-day “Maritime Silk Road Discovery” cruise, which is scheduled to depart Shenzhen on August 27. The itinerary will visit Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, Muara in Brunei and Nha Trang in Vietnam, giving passengers the opportunity to explore three Southeast Asian countries during the voyage.
