AIDA Announces Dance and True Crime Cruises for 2027

AIDA Cruises has revealed two themed sailings scheduled for January 2027: “AIDA Dances” and “Crime & Sea.”

According to the cruise line, “AIDA Dances” will take place aboard *AIDAcosma *in the Canary Islands, while “Crime & Sea” will sail on *AIDAnova *on the metropolitan route from and to Hamburg.

“AIDA Dances” will return for its fourth edition from January 16 to 23, 2027. The roundtrip voyage from Gran Canaria will sail around the Canary Islands and visit Madeira. The cruise will include dance workshops and an entertainment program led by professional dancers, including performers from the TV show “Let’s Dance.”

Featured guests will include juror and dance expert Joachim Llambi and entertainer Ross Antony, joined by Ekaterina Leonova, Malika Dzumaev, Mariia Maksina, Patricija and Alexandru Ionel, Renata and Valentin Lusin and others.

Complimentary dance lessons will be available for different ability levels in venues such as the Cube and the Beach Club. Classes will cover standard and Latin styles, including cha-cha-cha, tango and foxtrot, as well as more contemporary dance formats. The program will also feature show performances and themed evening events.

Prices start from €615 per person, based on the premium fare for double occupancy in an inside cabin, including an early booking discount.

The seven-day “Crime & Sea” cruise will sail from January 23 to 30, 2027, offering an onboard program focused on true crime themes. The itinerary includes calls at several European destinations, including London via Southampton, Paris via Le Havre, Brussels via Zeebrugge and Rotterdam.

Experts will share insights into real and fictional criminal cases, as well as investigative techniques and forensic work. Guests from the worlds of literature, podcasts and drama will also take part in the program, with names to be announced later. They will host readings, talks and interactive sessions exploring crime from different perspectives.

Workshops will allow guests to learn more about specific areas of criminal investigation, including crime scene analysis, evidence collection and crime reconstruction. Crime-themed shore excursions will also be available during the voyage.
