Carnival Cruise Line is set to celebrate Halloween in 2026 with a fleetwide lineup of “Frightfully Fun” cruises.

According to information shared by Carnival Brand Ambassador John Heald, the themed sailings will run from late September through the end of October.

Halloween is a brilliant time to cruise, and as tradition demands, we will be celebrating this fabulously fun event, featuring a decorated ship Halloween-style and a costume parade throughout the month of October,” Heald said.

All 29 ships in Carnival’s fleet will take part in the celebrations, including the cruise line’s three vessels based in Australia.

The company said guests can expect a range of Halloween-themed decorations, entertainment, and activities onboard throughout the special sailings. The season will begin with the Carnival Luminosa, which is scheduled to depart San Francisco on September 20, 2026, for the first themed cruise.

The “Frightfully Fun” program will conclude on October 31, 2026, when 12 ships embark on their final Halloween sailings from various homeports. These are Carnival Adventure, Carnival Dream, Carnival Elation, Carnival Encounter, Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Magic, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Vista, Carnival Valor, Carnival Sunshine and Mardi Gras.

While all participating ships will feature Halloween decorations and festive activities, Carnival noted that Carnival Luminosa, Carnival Legend, and *Carnival Freedom *will not offer the Patch the Pumpkin Pirate activity.

Separately, Carnival recently revealed plans for its first-ever President’s Cruise, which will see President Christine Duffy sailing aboard Carnival Magic in early 2027.

The cruise line is also rolling out a redesigned cruise card and introducing an updated milestone program as part of its new Carnival Rewards loyalty initiative.
