Carnival Cruise Line has rolled out a new lottery game across its fleet in North America and Europe, offering eligible guests the opportunity to win prizes of up to $1 million.

The new daily game connects all participating ships into one unified draw, replacing separate onboard lotteries with a single, centralized system. After boarding, guests can buy tickets through the Carnival HUB app, which is already used for viewing schedules and planning onboard activities. The app now also handles ticket purchases and displays results.

The lottery platform was created in collaboration with TimePlay, a company known for interactive entertainment technology. Each day’s draw is conducted electronically. Once the winning numbers are selected, the system automatically checks every ticket across the fleet. The entire process is digital, from purchasing entries to informing winners, removing the need for physical ticket validation.

Prizes vary from onboard credit to a grand jackpot of up to $1 million. Guests who win are notified immediately via the app.

Carnival says the concept is designed to generate a shared sense of excitement among passengers sailing on different ships at the same time. Executives describe the lottery as a new form of entertainment that connects guests across the fleet while adding an additional daily highlight to each cruise. With the program now in place, every day at sea includes a fresh drawing and another chance to win.
