Carnival Firenze to Sail South America In 2026-27

Carnival Cruise Line will return to South America in 2026-27 after a 14-year break, with the Carnival Firenze set to operate a limited series of sailings in the region.
As part of its repositioning to Miami, the 2020-built ship will offer three cruises between January and February 2027, visiting ports in Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil. The itineraries range from 14 to 16 nights.
Carnival last operated in South America in 2013, when the Carnival Splendor repositioned from the Mexican Riviera to the East Coast. That series featured three sailings of 13 to 18 nights with calls in Brazil and scenic passages through the Chilean Fjords and Darwin Channel.
The brand had first debuted in the region in 2009, also with the Splendor, during its move to Long Beach. More recently, in 2019, the Carnival Panorama made a technical call in Montevideo while on its delivery voyage to California.
After completing its South American voyages in early 2027, the Carnival Firenze will begin a spring deployment from PortMiami, sailing the Caribbean. Later that summer, the 4,232-guest ship will reposition to New York City for its first-ever season on the U.S. East Coast, with itineraries to the Bahamas and Caribbean.
