Cunard has announced a change to the itinerary of the Queen Elizabeth after a landslide impacted Tracy Arm Fjord in Alaska.

In a message sent to booked guests, the company confirmed that the ship’s scheduled visit to Tracy Arm on September 21, 2025, will be replaced.

“Instead, the Queen Elizabeth will now call at Endicott Arm, which is known for its dramatic fjords, cascading waterfalls and awe-inspiring Dawes Glacier,” Cunard explained.

“We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you onboard,” the statement continued.

The adjustment affects the ship’s September 18, 2025, seven-night roundtrip sailing from Seattle. No other ports on the Alaska cruise have been altered, with the itinerary still including Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan, and Victoria, along with two days of scenic cruising.

Following the Alaska voyage, the Queen Elizabeth will reposition to the Caribbean on a 21-night sailing from Seattle to PortMiami. The journey, which transits the Panama Canal, will visit destinations including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Cabo San Lucas, Puntarenas, Curaçao, and Aruba.

For the 2025-26 winter season, the 2010-built vessel will be based in Miami, offering a mix of nine- to 21-night Caribbean itineraries through mid-April 2026. Among the highlights is a special December 2025 sailing marking Cunard’s 185th anniversary. The nine-night celebratory cruise will visit Cozumel, Belize, Montego Bay, and Grand Turk.

After the Caribbean season, the Queen Elizabeth is scheduled to return to Alaska in May 2026 via another Panama Canal repositioning voyage.
