Disney Launches “Midnight Magic” Cruise Ad Campaign
Disney Cruise Line introduced a new advertising campaign titled “Midnight Magic” on March 15.
According to a press release, the advertisement premiered during the Academy Awards broadcast on ABC and focuses on how experiences during a Disney vacation can turn into lasting family memories and traditions.
The short film follows the story of a father and son walking together on a Disney cruise at night. The narrative traces their bond across the years, showing how their relationship grows from childhood through adulthood and eventually into grandparenthood.
“Disney has brought families closer together for generations,” said Asad Ayaz, chief marketing and brand officer, The Walt Disney Company.
“This campaign embodies what guests tell us time and again: that the Disney experiences they cherish most are the ones spent with the people they love. We’re grateful to make that kind of Disney magic a reality.”
Disney explained that the creative team behind the film was inspired by the way Disney vacations create meaningful moments between family members. These connections can occur during both major events and simple, quiet moments shared together.
The company said the campaign highlights how Disney experiences create joy and strengthen relationships, not only through entertainment offerings such as attractions, shows and onboard amenities, but also through the time families spend together.
