Margaritaville at Sea has entered into a 10-year lifecycle agreement with Wärtsilä covering lifecycle planning, ongoing maintenance support, and technical services for three vessels in its fleet.

Two of the ships, Margaritaville at Sea Paradise and Margaritaville at Sea Islander, are already in operation. A third vessel, Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, is expected to join the fleet in early 2027.

According to a statement, Wärtsilä recorded the agreements for the first two ships in the first quarter of 2026, with the contract for the third vessel anticipated to be finalized later this year.

Minas Miliaras, chief maritime officer (CMO) at Margaritaville at Sea, said: “Our vessels are operated and maintained with a strong focus on reliability, efficiency, and performance.

“By working closely with Wärtsilä, we are strengthening our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality operations while continuing to optimize performance and long-term asset value.”

The agreement is intended to improve vessel reliability, streamline maintenance schedules, and support efficient fleet operations.

In addition, the Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber will be equipped with Wärtsilä’s Expert Insight digital platform, which provides real-time monitoring and predictive analytics to improve performance and operational efficiency.

“Our Lifecycle Agreements are designed to support customers who prioritize operational excellence and reliability,” said Andrea Morgante, vice president, performance services, Wärtsilä Marine.

“Margaritaville at Sea has demonstrated a strong commitment to maintaining high-performing vessels, and we are proud to support their continued growth and operational success.”
