MSC Cruises Serves Fine Dining at Italian Grand Prix

MSC Cruises revealed in a press release that it brought a taste of its signature gastronomy to the 2025 Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
As a premium partner of the BWT Alpine Formula One Team, the cruise line highlighted the talents of three acclaimed chefs, who presented dishes from Eataly, Kaito Sushi and Teppanyaki, Chef’s Garden Kitchen, and Hola! Tacos & Cantina. Their creations were served to drivers, engineers, mechanics, and VIP attendees.
Stéphane Franchini, senior director of food and beverage at MSC Cruises, said: “This was a new and unique opportunity to showcase the creativity and skill of our chefs, bringing the same authentic gastronomic experience that our guests enjoy onboard to the racetrack for BWT Alpine Formula One Team and their guests to savor.”

MSC Cruises became a premium partner of the BWT Alpine Formula One Team in February 2025, following its earlier entry as a global Formula 1 sponsor in 2022.
The menu was crafted by Italian chef Luca Cesarini, Asian cuisine specialist Chef Xiao Wang, and Michelin-trained chef Pasquale Puziello. Guests and crew were treated to dishes such as:
- Hamachi and Ora King Salmon Sashimi with truffle teriyaki (Kaito Sushi)
- La Burrata with Tuscan tomato bread compote and Taggiasca olive crumble basil (Eataly)
- Le Tagliatelle al Tartufo with Toscana butter, Parmigiano Reggiano and Appennino truffle (Eataly)
- Misoyaki Black Cod with crunchy rice cake and wasabi beurre blanc (Pan Asian restaurant)
- Glazed Beef Short Rib with cauliflower purée and sweet-and-sour onions (Chef’s Garden Kitchen)
- Crab cakes with jumbo lump crab, Cajun remoulade greens and lemon (Butcher’s Cut Steakhouse)
Desserts included indulgent favorites such as Il Tiramisu from Ocean Cay Restaurant and Mexican Flan from Hola! Tacos Mexican Cantina.
