MSC World Asia to Debut New Pan-Asian Dining Experience
MSC Cruises has shared new details about a Pan-Asian dining concept that will make its debut aboard the MSC World Asia, offering guests a variety of ways to enjoy Southeast Asian cuisine throughout their cruise.
The new venue combines three experiences in one location, allowing passengers to choose between a full-service meal, a casual drink, or a quick snack while moving between onboard activities.
With this new three-in-one venue, we are inviting guests to explore one of the world’s most exciting food cultures in a way that is vibrant, welcoming and full of flavor,” said Stéphane Franchini, Senior Director of Food and Beverage Product at MSC Cruises.
The concept includes:
- A specialty restaurant featuring a selection of carefully prepared Pan-Asian dishes.
- A bar and lounge serving cocktails and beverages inspired by Southeast Asia.
- A grab-and-go outlet offering quick, street food-style snacks.
According to MSC Cruises, the venue blends authentic flavors with themed design, live cooking, and music to create an immersive experience inspired by Southeast Asia.
The menu will feature dishes including Singapore-style shrimp, shiitake mushroom fried rice, and a range of wok-cooked specialties. The restaurant itself will offer both indoor seating and a rooftop terrace in a relaxed setting. Guests can enjoy a menu featuring an appetizer, main course, and dessert.
A selection of well-known Asian bottled beers, including Tsingtao, Chang, and Bintang, will be available alongside bubble teas, fresh smoothies, and fruit juices. The adjoining bar will serve a variety of signature cocktails inspired by Southeast Asia, including jasmine mojitos, rose and strawberry daiquiris, and matcha coladas.
For guests looking for a quick meal, the takeaway window will provide complimentary snacks during the day. The menu will include street food-inspired favorites such as crispy seafood balls, fluffy bao buns, and other bite-sized options.
MSC World Asia will offer a total of 19 dining venues, including six specialty restaurants, six main dining concepts, an exclusive restaurant for MSC Yacht Club guests, and a range of fast-casual and grab-and-go options.
Other specialty restaurants on board will include:
- Butcher’s Cut
