Norwegian Cruise Line has unveiled its 2027–28 deployment alongside the return of its Free at Sea Plus upgrade package.

According to the company, the new season features more than 370 voyages, with a strong emphasis on the Bahamas, Caribbean, Bermuda, the Mexican Riviera, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The itineraries range from two to 22 nights and include 144 distinct destinations across 47 countries between September 2027 and April 2028.

Norwegian said the program was crafted to encourage deeper exploration, offering an average port stay of 9.5 hours, along with 71 late departures across 31 ports. The schedule also includes 70 overnight calls, allowing guests additional time to “immerse themselves in the culture and vibrancy of each destination.”

Key highlights include two Prima class ships based in Puerto Rico, seven ships sailing from Florida and year round operations from Philadelphia. Norwegian will also continue departures from Galveston and New Orleans, as well as Mexican Riviera voyages from Los Angeles.

Two vessels will be positioned in the Pacific, offering itineraries to the Far East, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

“We’re thrilled to unveil our new immersive winter season, giving travelers the ultimate freedom to create their own adventure. Whether it’s an exotic Asia voyage, a quick Bahamas escape, or a sun-soaked Caribbean getaway, our itineraries are designed for flexibility and choice,” said Harry Sommer, president and chief executive officer of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.

“With longer port stays, overnight calls, and our award-winning onboard experiences, guests can explore at their own pace and personalize every moment with ease,” he added.

Sommer noted that many Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries will include calls at Great Stirrup Cay, which will feature a new pier, a heated pool and the Great Tides Waterpark.

“And with the return of Free at Sea Plus, guests will enjoy even greater value and convenience, making it easier than ever to relax and focus on what truly matters: reconnecting with those who matter most,” he said.

The reinstated Free at Sea Plus package provides additional unlimited amenities, including premium beverages, streaming Wi-Fi and Starbucks options.
