Quebec City Welcomes Seabourn Ovation on Maiden Call

The Seabourn Ovation made its inaugural visit to Quebec City on September 23, 2026, according to an update from Port de Québec, arriving for an overnight stay as part of a 12-day Canada and New England cruise.

The ship’s first visit to the destination was marked with a traditional plaque exchange ceremony attended by Captain Emilian Cygan, local officials and representatives from the port.

Sailing between New York City and Montréal, the itinerary took guests through New England, the Canadian Maritimes and along the St. Lawrence River.

The Port of Québec described the itinerary as “a great way to showcase the river and the Québec City region to an international clientele seeking exclusive travel experiences.”

After departing New York on September 13, 2026, Seabourn Ovation visited destinations including Newport, Boston, Rockland, Halifax, Charlottetown and Saguenay. The itinerary also included scenic cruising through the Cape Cod Canal.

Following its maiden visit, the 604-passenger Seabourn Ovation is expected to make another four calls at Quebec City through early November. These visits form part of a series of 12-night cruises exploring destinations across the region, including Gaspé, Havre-Saint-Pierre, L’Anse aux Meadows, Iles de la Madeleine and Saint-Pierre et Miquelon.

In mid-November, Seabourn Ovation is scheduled to reposition to the Caribbean, where it will operate cruises departing from Miami, St. Maarten and Barbados.
