Royal Caribbean to Show FIFA World Cup 2026 at Sea
Royal Caribbean guests will be able to watch one of the world’s largest sporting events while cruising this summer.
The cruise line announced that it will broadcast the FIFA World Cup live across its fleet from June 11 to July 19, 2026, allowing passengers to follow tournament matches while onboard. The move is designed to create a stronger sports-focused atmosphere during the busy summer cruise season.
Matches will be screened in several public areas throughout the ships, including pool decks, sports bars, entertainment venues, and other social spaces where guests can gather to watch together. Passengers will also be able to view games from their stateroom televisions for a more private experience.
Alongside the live match coverage, Royal Caribbean plans to offer soccer-themed activities and entertainment during the tournament period to give guests more interactive onboard experiences.
The company is also increasing its involvement ashore through its partnership with the Miami World Cup 2026 Host Committee.
As part of the collaboration, Royal Caribbean will take part in fan events and entertainment activities linked to the tournament in Miami, including celebrations at the FIFA Fan Festival at Bayfront Park.
