Serenade of the Seas Begins Latin America Season

The Serenade of the Seas has officially arrived in Latin America, launching Royal Caribbean International’s 2025–2026 cruise season in the region.
Operating from Panamá and Colombia, the 2003-built ship will offer a series of seven-night Southern Caribbean voyages, departing from Colón and Cartagena de Indias with stops in Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.
Royal Caribbean said the sailings will feature an onboard experience tailored to Latin American guests, including multilingual support and culturally themed activities.
The Serenade reached its new homeports in early October following a repositioning journey that began on the U.S. West Coast. The ship first sailed through the Panama Canal to Florida, then operated a three-night Caribbean cruise from PortMiami on October 1, 2025, before continuing to Colón and Cartagena.
The new deployment marks Royal Caribbean’s return to Latin America after a one-year break. The company last operated in the region during the 2023–2024 winter season, when the Rhapsody of the Seas offered similar itineraries from Colombia and Panamá.
The 2025–2026 season will run through April 2026, after which the Serenade will reposition to Alaska for summer operations. Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean plans to maintain a presence in Latin America with the Grandeur of the Seas, which will replace the previously scheduled Jewel of the Seas in the region.
Arriving in May 2026, the Vision-class Grandeur will begin a year-round program from Colombia and Panamá through at least April 2027, offering seven-night cruises to Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao, continuing the line’s commitment to the Southern Caribbean market.
