Silversea has introduced its first collection of S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) Culinary Voyages, offering itineraries designed to immerse guests in the food, traditions and people that define each destination.

The new collection is built around four themes—Gather, Craft, Celebrate and Indulge—and aims to showcase regional culinary cultures both on board and ashore.

The inaugural season features seven voyages aboard Silver Dawn and Silver Spirit, sailing through Portugal, Spain, France and the United Kingdom during Europe’s autumn harvest season.

With our new collection of dedicated S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages, we’re building on our position as the small-ship leader in culinary variety to give guests direct access to the people and places that define a region’s food culture,” said Bert Hernandez, President of Silversea.

“That means a countess opening her kitchen in northern Portugal, or a chef teaching her own family recipes at home in Normandy. These are experiences guests couldn’t arrange on their own, and that access is what sets this collection apart.”

According to the cruise line, each itinerary combines an enhanced onboard culinary program with exclusive S.A.L.T. Experiences on land. Shore excursions include a private port-blending session in Portugal’s Douro Valley, a Michelin-chef-hosted lunch at Château du Prince Noir in Bordeaux and a truffle hunt at the historic Château Royal de Cazeneuve.
