Princess Cruises has announced a full change to the itinerary for the Sky Princess sailing departing on December 28, 2025.

In a notice sent to passengers, the cruise line confirmed that the voyage will no longer head to the Western Caribbean as originally scheduled. Instead, the eight-night journey will now explore destinations in the Eastern Caribbean, including Nassau and Amber Cove.

“Please be advised that due to changes in our deployment program, your eight-night Western Caribbean with Mexico Holiday voyage on the Sky Princess has been changed to an eight-night Eastern Caribbean cruise with Puerto Rico Holiday Voyage,” Princess Cruises stated.

The company assured travelers that cruise fares, promotional offers, transfers, and hotel arrangements made through Princess will stay the same despite the route change. Any shore excursions, spa appointments, or dining reservations will either be automatically updated or, if they cannot be adjusted, cancelled and refunded back to the original payment method.

Additionally, Princess Cruises is offering guests who keep their reservations a $25 per person onboard credit as a goodwill gesture.

Originally, the itinerary featured stops in Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, along with Belize City and Roatán. Under the revised plan, the Sky Princess will now call at Grand Turk in Turks & Caicos, San Juan in Puerto Rico, Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic, and Nassau in the Bahamas.

The Sky Princess, which spends summers sailing Northern Europe, will reposition to Port Canaveral in late November. From its Florida homeport, the ship — launched in 2019 — is scheduled to operate a series of six- and eight-night voyages to both the Western and Eastern Caribbean through early March. Afterward, it will return to Europe to run itineraries out of Southampton, UK.
