Virgin Voyages Celebrates Its Two Millionth Passenger

Virgin Voyages has reached a new milestone after welcoming the two-millionth passenger to choose a sailing with the cruise line.

The milestone was celebrated at Terminal V on Thursday, September 24, as Jason, a seven-time Virgin Voyages Sailor from Leland, North Carolina, arrived with his wife Patricia to board the Resilient Lady.

Virgin Voyages surprised the couple with its Happenings Cast at the Miami terminal. Jason was greeted with confetti, music and cheers before receiving an oversized red envelope bearing the message “One in Two Million. A Celebration for You.”

The couple received a selection of special experiences, including a suite upgrade, a “Shore Thing,” a Bimini beach cabana, a tattoo or spa treatment, a letter from Richard Branson, and an invitation to Sisters at Sea. Amazingly, they also received a trip to London provided by Virgin Hotels and Virgin Atlantic, which includes premium round-trip flights to London Heathrow with Virgin Atlantic and a three-night stay at the five-star Virgin Hotels London Shoreditch.

Virgin Voyages said reaching two million passengers also provided an opportunity to thank the Sailors who continue to choose the cruise line.

As part of the celebrations, the company is extending its Sailing Club benefits, including Blue Extras and Deep Blue Extras, through December 31, 2028.

Virgin Voyages is also bringing back its Status Match program, giving travelers the opportunity to match eligible loyalty status from more than 35 airline, hotel and cruise loyalty programs. Travelers can submit their status with another eligible travel loyalty program for review between September 24 and October 31. Once their status match has been approved, they will have until October 31, 2026, to book a Virgin Voyages sailing.
