Virgin Voyages has introduced a new Groups program aimed at simplifying the planning process for guests traveling together.

The new offering allows groups ranging from eight cabins to as many as 75 cabins to book a sailing without paying a deposit, according to the cruise line. Each cabin also includes a Group Bar Tab worth up to $200, with the amount based on the length of the voyage. Virgin Voyages said fares are secured at the time of booking.

“Group trips aren’t really about the destination. They’re about the people. Some of life’s best moments happen when the people you care about most are all in the same place at the same time, and that’s become harder than ever to pull off,” said Nathan Rosenberg, chief brand experience, marketing and momentum officer at Virgin Voyages.

Our ships are designed to bring people together, creating space for the conversations, laughter and shared moments that are often missing from everyday life. The logistics get everyone there. What they remember is how it felt to disconnect from the noise, reconnect with each other and create memories they’ll be talking about for years.”

As part of a limited-time offer, groups booked by June 30, 2026, will receive one complimentary cabin for every 12 cabins reserved.

Virgin Voyages said the program can be used for a wide range of occasions, including milestone birthdays, anniversary getaways, friendcations, family reunions, bachelor and bachelorette sailings, wedding groups and honeymoon celebrations.

For groups marking special events, the cruise line can arrange extras such as champagne and flowers in cabins upon arrival. Guests can also reserve an entire restaurant for the evening, with live music included. A group dining concierge is also available to help organize meals for larger parties.
