Windstar Unveils Short European Yacht Trips for 2026

Windstar Cruises has introduced “Quick Getaways,” a fresh series of European yacht voyages lasting three to five nights, scheduled to debut in spring 2026.

According to the company’s press release, these brief itineraries combine a unique variety of ports and cities not typically included on the same route.

“These new sailings are designed for spontaneity and simplicity,” said Jess Peterson, Windstar’s Director of Itinerary Planning.

“They’re the perfect way to experience the Windstar style of travel, especially if you’re already traveling for work or play in Europe. With overnight flights from the East Coast, you can be sailing beneath the Tower Bridge or sipping wine in Southern France with minimal jet lag and no time wasted,” Peterson explained.

Highlights of the new itineraries include:

  • “A Taste of Southern France” (3 nights): Paddle a kayak near Sète, visit Collioure, and explore the medieval citadel of Carcassonne
  • “La Dolce Vita in Italy & France” (3 nights): Discover coastal towns, Corsican markets, and the beauty of Tuscany
  • “Belgium: A Sweet Getaway” (3 nights): Enjoy the canals of Bruges, sample Belgian chocolate, and admire the local architecture
  • “St. Malo Getaway” (4 nights): Sail past London’s Tower Bridge, along France’s northern coastline, and visit Mont St. Michel

Windstar noted that it plans to expand its offering of brief European cruises in 2027, with more itineraries to be announced as part of its next European deployment rollout in September 2025.

An early booking promotion is available for those reserving by August 31, 2025. Guests can receive special fares, up to $200 in onboard credit per stateroom, and an All-In package—including select alcoholic beverages, Wi-Fi, and gratuities—valued at $99 per day, totaling nearly $1,400 in benefits on a seven-night cruise for two.

For additional savings, Windstar is offering a “Pay Now, Save More” deal. Guests who pay in full at the time of booking and use the code PIF will receive an extra 5% discount.
