AIDA Cruises has confirmed that Hamburg will once again host the Hamburg Cruise Days festival from September 12 to 14, 2025, with the company returning as one of the event’s three main sponsors.

According to AIDA, the festivities will begin on Friday, September 12, when the AIDAsol docks at Cruise Center Altona. The ship is scheduled to depart at 17:00 on a nine-day itinerary to Scotland and Norway.

On Saturday, September 13, the AIDAperla will join the evening ship parade. Departing from Steinwerder, it will sail past the Elbphilharmonie at around 21:00 before beginning a seven-day cruise along the Atlantic West Coast.

Visitors will have the chance to step aboard AIDA ships during the weekend, with opportunities to enjoy sea views and sample meals in onboard restaurants.

AIDA’s “vacation world” will also be located by the Elbphilharmonie, offering guests a chance to relax with harbor views, explore a show cabin from AIDAcosma, and receive travel advice from AIDA staff. Additional attractions include the Hugging Station for selfies, a button-making forge, the AIDA Lounge, and a children’s corner with games and face painting.

The vacation world will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12; 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13; and 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 14.

The company also noted that the AIDAnova began its year-long season on the Elbe on January 5, 2025, and will close out the season with its final Hamburg call on December 27, 2025.
