Borealis Begins Fred. Olsen’s 2025 Season from Dover

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines officially launched its summer 2025 season from the Port of Dover with the arrival of its ship, Borealis, on May 28, according to a press release.

Throughout the season, Borealis will sail a range of cruises to popular destinations such as Norway, Malta, Croatia, the Azores, and Iceland. The cruise line’s summer schedule includes several themed voyages that highlight the cultural and natural treasures of each region.

Travelers can look forward to a variety of experiences including views of Norway’s Langfoss and Kleivafoss waterfalls, fjord fishing, and visits to historic Croatian cities like Dubrovnik and Split. The itineraries also feature cruising along the Dalmatian Coast, a scenic ride on the Flåm Railway, and educational stops in Madeira to learn about local flower and pineapple farming. Iceland’s dramatic volcanic terrain is another highlight.

On Saturday Borealis departed for its eight-night Scenic Fjords and Falls of Norway cruise. The voyage includes visits to Haugesund and Bergen, as well as scenic cruising through Nordfjord, Innvikfjord, Lustrafjord, and Lysefjord.
