Carnival Magic Returns to Miami After Major Refit
Carnival Cruise Line has announced that the Carnival Magic is back in service following a 35-day drydock that began on April 19th at the Grand Bahama Shipyard.
The vessel has now resumed operations from Miami, sailing itineraries to destinations throughout the Caribbean and The Bahamas.
Several onboard areas received upgrades during the refit, including renovations to the casino and arcade, along with the addition of a new mini golf course.
Retail spaces were also refreshed, including the ship’s gift shops and the Effy Jewelry boutique.
The Cloud 9 Spa and fitness center underwent renovations, while improvements were also made to the WaterWorks aqua park and pool deck areas. In addition, the layout of the Lido restaurant was redesigned as part of the refurbishment work.
Carnival Magic has also become the second vessel in the fleet to feature Carnival Cruise Line’s new “From Sea to Shining Sea” bow crest. The first to receive the new design being Carnival Legend, which returned to service on May 20 after completing a 16-day drydock at the same shipyard.
