Disney Cruise Line’s newest and largest vessel, Disney Adventure, sailed near Freeport, Bahamas, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, marking the occasion with an unusual at-sea gathering alongside Disney Destiny and Disney Fantasy. The moment gave passengers onboard the two active ships a clear view of the fleet coming together.

Footage shared online and reports from those watching described the scene as a “family reunion on the water.” The three ships initially traveled in close formation before sounding a coordinated musical horn salute that became the standout moment of the encounter.

Disney Adventure, unlike the other two vessels, is currently operating with crew only. The ship remains on an extended positioning voyage to Singapore, where it is scheduled to enter commercial service in March 2026.

Its appearance near Freeport was part of a series of planned calls along the route. Following this stop, the ship is expected to continue to Port Canaveral, Florida, for another notable visit before proceeding toward its new homeport.

Constructed in Germany by longtime partner Meyer Werft, Disney Adventure is now the largest ship ever delivered to Disney Cruise Line.

Although the cruise line has positioned the vessel as the centerpiece of its upcoming Singapore deployment, the ship’s relocation voyage is already drawing attention. Events like the three-ship salute allowed guests to witness the expansion of the Disney fleet firsthand.

Once Disney Adventure begins sailing from Singapore, Disney Cruise Line says the ship itself will be the primary draw. The vessel will offer short three- and four-night itineraries focused heavily on onboard experiences and immersive themed areas.

Highlighted spaces include Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street, Wayfinder Bay, Town Square, Marvel Landing, and Toy Story Place. The layout is designed to keep families entertained even on cruises that feature more time at sea.
