FBI Investigating Alleged Assault on Carnival Breeze

The FBI has opened an investigation into an alleged sexual assault reported aboard the Carnival Breeze during a recent cruise departing from Galveston, Texas. The reported incident occurred during a four-day itinerary that included a stop in Cozumel and returned to Galveston on July 28, 2025.

FBI Houston confirmed it is aware of the allegation and noted that a Maritime Liaison Agent is working in coordination with the U.S. Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, and Carnival Cruise Line. No further information has been disclosed as the investigation remains active.
