Kai Tak Cruise Terminal Wins Muslim-Friendly Transport Award
The Kai Tak Cruise Terminal (KTCT) in Hong Kong, operated and managed by Worldwide Cruise Terminals (WCT), has received the Muslim-friendly Transport Hub of the Year title at the Halal in Travel Awards 2026.
Anna Hong, Managing Director of WCT, welcomed the recognition, saying: “We are grateful to have received the Muslim-friendly Transport Hub of the Year Award and to be recognized for setting a new standard for Muslim-friendly transport infrastructure in Asia.”
She highlighted the terminal’s efforts to create an inclusive experience for Muslim travelers.
“The terminal provides dedicated prayer rooms, halal dining options and carefully considered amenities for Muslim passengers and visitors, ensuring that the journey through Hong Kong’s iconic waterfront gateway is as welcoming as the destination itself,” Hong added.

The awards ceremony took place during the sixth Halal In Travel Global Summit, held in Singapore on June 18, 2026.
