MSC World Asia to Debut Largest Venchi Experience at Sea

MSC Cruises has unveiled what it describes as the largest Venchi chocolate experience ever created at sea, set to debut aboard MSC World Asia when the ship enters service in the Mediterranean in December 2026.

According to the cruise line, the new 300-square-meter venue will accommodate more than 60 guests and combine a retail shop, café, and gelateria in one immersive space located in the ship’s Galleria on Deck 6.

Passengers will be able to watch Venchi’s master chocolatiers in action and even visit the dedicated “chocolate lab” to create their own personalized chocolate bars. The café and lounge will serve authentic Italian espresso, specialty drinks, and a range of Venchi chocolates.

Freshly prepared croissants and crêpes will also be available throughout the morning and into the afternoon while in the evenings, guests can enjoy chocolate-inspired cocktails, Gelatoshakes, and a selection of handcrafted gelato flavors.

To celebrate the collaboration, MSC Cruises and Venchi have created an exclusive gelato flavor called “Crunchy Waves,” which will be available in selected Venchi stores around the world from August 1 to 31. The dessert features three distinct layers designed to recreate a “sand and sea” effect. It combines a creamy vanilla gelato base with crunchy hazelnut biscuit and salted toffee pieces, topped with a blue spirulina layer.

Beginning in August, Crunchy Waves will also be served aboard MSC Cruises’ Seaside Class ships that feature Venchi gelaterias before becoming available on* MSC World Asia* when the ship launches in December. The limited-edition flavor will also be sold at selected Venchi stores in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Italy.
