P&O Cruises has confirmed the cancellation of certain itineraries scheduled aboard the Arvia and Ventura in 2026.

According to British media, two sailings have been withdrawn, including the Arvia’s April 11, 2027, departure. The 5,200-passenger ship had been set to operate a 14-night roundtrip from Southampton to the Mediterranean, calling in Spain, France, and Italy.

That cruise has now been replaced by two shorter seven-night itineraries to the Norwegian Fjords and Western Europe, Yahoo News UK reported.

“On occasion, it is necessary to change an itinerary from what was previously published, and we are sorry this change has impacted a small number of our guests,” a P&O spokesperson told the outlet.

The new voyages open for bookings on September 18, 2025. Guests affected by the change are being offered £50 per person in onboard credit if they rebook by late October, in addition to full refunds of any payments made.

Separately, the Ventura’s four-night cruise set to depart Southampton on February 23, 2026, has also been cancelled. The decision is linked to an extension of the vessel’s scheduled refit, P&O explained.

Originally, the 2008-built Ventura was due to sail to the Netherlands, featuring an overnight stay in Amsterdam. Guests booked on the cancelled voyage will receive a full refund and an additional credit to use on a future cruise.

“We understand this news is disappointing and would like to apologize for this change,” the company said in a statement. “As a further apology for this cancellation, we’d like to offer the first two guests booked in your cabin £25 per person onboard spending money,” it added, noting that rebookings must be made by October 24, 2025, to qualify.
