Ponant Unveils Luxury Arts & Crafts Voyage Celebrating Italy
Ponant Exploration has introduced a new themed cruise centered on Italian arts and craftsmanship, created in partnership with Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Brioni, Pomellato and Ginori 1735.
According to a press release, the voyage is built around a collection of exclusive, high end experiences.
The Gucci House will offer private access to the Gucci Archive, located in a 15th century Renaissance palazzo normally closed to the public, as well as to the Palazzo Gucci in central Florence. Onboard, guests will view a special exhibition titled “The Art of Travel.”
Travelers will also be given a behind the scenes look at Bottega Veneta’s artisanal work, along with a curated tour of Venice’s lesser known sites, ending with a cocktail reception at the Bottega Veneta Residence in Palazzo Soranzo Van Axel.
Guests will attend a presentation by a master tailor highlighting Brioni’s craftsmanship, while Stefano Cortecci, gem master and director of Precious Stone Purchasing, will lead a session exploring the art of fine jewelry.
The House of Ginori 1735 will open its historic Florentine Manifattura for a private tour. Onboard, a Ginori craftsman will demonstrate porcelain painting, and Café Ginori will be featured in the ship’s observatory lounge.
The “Livorno–Venice” itinerary aboard Le Boréal is scheduled for September 8 to 18, 2027. The 11 day sailing starts at €11,930 per person.
