Royal Caribbean Updates Beverage Package Options

Royal Caribbean International has announced adjustments to its beverage packages, which will no longer automatically include access to Coca-Cola Freestyle machines or a souvenir cup.

According to information on the company’s website, guests who purchase the Deluxe Beverage Package or the Royal Refreshment Package will be able to add this option separately starting March 15, 2026.

Previously included with all Royal Caribbean beverage packages, the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines will now be available as an optional feature for $4.99. This fee includes the souvenir cup as well as unlimited use of the machines during the cruise.

The only exception will be the Classic Soda Package, which will continue to provide both the souvenir cup and unlimited refills from the machines as part of the package.

Royal Caribbean also noted that the souvenir cup cannot be reused for refills on future sailings. If a replacement cup is needed during the cruise, it can be purchased for $4.99.

All beverage packages will still include a variety of canned sodas along with fountain drinks served in bars, lounges, and restaurants throughout the ship.

Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, which offer a wide selection of soft drinks, juices, and flavored water options, are installed on most vessels in the fleet. However, the machines are not currently available on Spectrum of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, or Vision of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean’s Deluxe Beverage Package covers any single drink served onboard with a value of up to $14. The package includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options such as beer, wine, cocktails, spirits, milkshakes, and more.

The Royal Refreshment Package focuses on non-alcoholic beverages, offering items including canned sodas, freshly squeezed juices, and frozen drinks.

Royal Caribbean beverage packages can be used both onboard the ships and at the cruise line’s private Caribbean destinations, Labadee and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
