Seven Seas Navigator Begins Final Northern Europe Season in Dover

The *Seven Seas Navigator *has arrived in Dover to begin its farewell Northern Europe deployment with Regent Seven Seas Cruises after completing a 14-night repositioning voyage from Barcelona on July 19 which included calls in Spain, Portugal, France and the United Kingdom.

The 490-passenger luxury ship will operate a series of itineraries departing from the United Kingdom, Sweden and France before returning to the Mediterranean in August. These sailings form part of the vessel’s final seasons with Regent ahead of its planned transfer to Avora Residences in late 2027. Built in 1999 and refurbished in 2019, the 28,803-gross-ton ship measures 566 feet in length and is set to begin a new chapter as a residential vessel after 28 years in Regent’s fleet.

From Dover, the *Seven Seas Navigator *will depart on a nine-night voyage to Stockholm, visiting Copenhagen and Oslo along the way. Every port on the itinerary—including both embarkation and disembarkation ports—features an overnight stay.

The ship will then sail on a 15-night open-jaw itinerary between Stockholm and Le Havre, calling at destinations across the Baltic and North Sea. Ports of call include Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and England.

In mid-August, the vessel will return to Barcelona on a 12-night cruise from Le Havre, with scheduled visits to destinations including St. Malo, La Coruña and Lisbon, along with other ports in Western Europe and along the Iberian coast.

Following its Northern Europe program, Seven Seas Navigator will remain in Europe for a winter season in the Mediterranean that extends into early 2027. To coincide with the deployment, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has introduced five exclusive multi-day pre- and post-cruise land programs available only to guests sailing aboard the vessel.

These experiences are part of the cruise line’s wider 2026 holiday season offering, which also includes 56 new shore excursions across selected voyages on Seven Seas Navigator, *Seven Seas Voyager *and the new Seven Seas Prestige, which is scheduled to embark on its maiden voyage from Barcelona on December 13, 2026.

After completing its remaining Regent itineraries in Africa, Asia and Australia, the *Navigator *will be handed over to Avora Residences in late 2027. The ship will be renamed Avora Lumina and converted into a residential vessel featuring approximately 242 to 252 private homes.

The project is backed by Villa Vie Residences, which already operates the residential ship Villa Vie Odyssey, offering continuous global travel with an itinerary spanning more than 400 destinations.

According to Avora’s plans, Avora Lumina will embark on a multi-year world voyage visiting more than 140 countries and over 400 destinations, with its inaugural departure scheduled from Lisbon in January 2028.
