Virgin Voyages has cancelled the Scarlet Lady’s April 19, 2026, cruise from Miami, citing a full-ship charter.

In a message sent to passengers, the line explained: “It looks like your Scarlet Lady sailing on April 19, 2026, has been privately chartered. We’re truly sorry for the impact this has on your plans, and we’re here to make it right.”

The cancelled sailing was originally part of the ship’s 2025-26 Caribbean program. Scheduled to last seven nights, the itinerary included calls at Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), San Juan (Puerto Rico), and Tortola (British Virgin Islands), sailing from Virgin’s Terminal V in Miami.

To accommodate impacted travelers, Virgin is offering alternative arrangements. Guests may transfer their booking to the Resilient Lady’s April 18, 2026, departure, which features the “San Juan & Dominican Dreams” itinerary. This weeklong voyage visits Puerto Plata and San Juan, along with Bimini in the Bahamas.

The cruise line confirmed that rebooked passengers will keep the same cabin category, with original fares honored. If the replacement trip is priced lower, the difference will be refunded to the original form of payment. All promotions tied to the initial booking, including Bar Tab bonuses, will also be carried over.

In addition, certain cabin types will receive Sailor Loot onboard credit “as a thank you for sticking with us.” Guests may also apply similar benefits to other seven-night Caribbean sailings.

Those who prefer not to rebook can cancel for either a full refund or a 100 percent Future Voyage Credit.
