TUI Cruises has confirmed the cancellation of several Arabian Gulf sailings that were scheduled to operate this week aboard Mein Schiff 4 and Mein Schiff 5.

In a company statement, TUI said that departures planned from Dubai and Doha on February 28, March 1 and March 2, 2026, will no longer proceed.

“We continue to monitor the developments in the Middle East very closely and are in close contact with the relevant authorities and security experts,” TUI explained. The cruise line added that it also took into account the latest travel and safety guidance issued by Germany’s Federal Foreign Office when making the decision.

“The safety and well-being of our guests and crew are our top priority at all times. All affected guests have already been informed directly by us,” the company stated.

“We are continuously evaluating the situation and always make decisions based on current official recommendations,” TUI said, adding that passengers will be promptly informed if additional changes become necessary.

Mein Schiff 5 had been due to depart on February 28, 2026, for a seven-night roundtrip voyage from Qatar, calling at destinations in Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The itinerary included stops in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Sir Bani Yas Island.

Meanwhile, Mein Schiff 4 was scheduled to operate a similar sailing beginning with an overnight stay in Dubai, with embarkation available on March 1 or March 2, 2026. That cruise was set to feature an overnight in Muscat, as well as calls in Abu Dhabi and Khasab before returning to Dubai.

At present, Mein Schiff 4 is docked in Abu Dhabi, while Mein Schiff 5 remains alongside in Doha.

TUI Cruises is not alone in suspending regional operations. MSC Cruises and Celestyal Cruises have also cancelled Middle East sailings this week in response to the current situation.
