Virgin Voyages has announced that its cruises departing from New York City will begin sailing from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal starting April 6, 2026. In a message sent to booked passengers, the company confirmed that the change will apply to all of its scheduled departures from the city.

Virgin Voyages operates in New York on a seasonal basis and has previously used the Manhattan Cruise Terminal as its departure point.

For the 2026 season, the cruise line will position Valiant Lady in New York for a series of spring voyages running from early to late April. The 2,770-passenger vessel will return to the city again in late September for a fall program that continues through late October.

During these deployments, Virgin Voyages will offer cruises lasting between five and 12 nights to destinations including Bermuda and the Caribbean. The schedule also includes a fall foliage itinerary to Canada and New England.

One of the standout voyages in the lineup departs in late September and visits Boston, Portland, Saint John and Halifax before returning to New York.

In addition, Valiant Lady will operate a transatlantic sailing from Brooklyn in late April. The 14-night voyage includes calls in Funchal, Málaga, Tangier and Palma de Mallorca before concluding in Barcelona. The itinerary will also feature a stop in Ponta Delgada in Portugal’s Azores.
