AIDA Cruises Unveils 2027-28 Winter Itineraries Worldwide

AIDA Cruises has officially opened bookings for its 2027-28 winter season, announcing more than 300 sailings across a variety of global destinations, the company revealed in a recent press release.
The upcoming deployment features voyages to popular regions such as the Canary Islands, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, South America, the Indian Ocean, and South Africa.
Tropical Highlights and Caribbean Adventures
A key focus of the season is on AIDA’s warm-weather offerings, with several ships sailing to tropical destinations in the Caribbean and Central America. Three ships - AIDAbella, AIDAluna, and AIDAprima - will operate in the region, with the AIDAprima joining for the first time.
These vessels will offer island-hopping cruises lasting between 14 and 21 nights, departing from La Romana in the Dominican Republic and Bridgetown, Barbados.
Long Voyages and European Getaways
Another seasonal highlight is the “big winter breaks” aboard the AIDAmar, featuring extended roundtrip sailings to sunny destinations from Hamburg, Germany. The ship’s schedule includes a 48-day voyage to Brazil and South America and a 21-day cruise to the Azores and Morocco.
Also departing from Hamburg, the AIDAnova will sail to Scandinavia, Denmark, and Western Europe, offering guests the chance to explore cities closer to home during the winter months.
Strong Presence in the Canary Islands and Indian Ocean
The Canary Islands will see a robust AIDA presence, with the AIDAsol, AIDAstella, and AIDAcosma operating itineraries that include visits to Madeira Island.
Meanwhile, the AIDAblu will split its season between the Indian Ocean and South Africa, calling at Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar, and La Réunion, as well as Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London, and Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Early Booking Incentives
AIDA is encouraging early bookings with several exclusive perks. Guests who reserve their cruises by April 30, 2027, can save up to 975 euros per person. Other benefits include free cabin selection, a Rail&Fly ticket valid throughout Germany, and two complimentary bottles of mineral water daily onboard.
No Middle East Sailings for 2027-28
Notably, AIDA confirmed that it will not offer itineraries in the Middle East or Arabian Gulf during the 2027-28 season. Earlier this year, the company announced it would cancel all scheduled voyages in the region for 2025-26 due to security concerns.
With its wide-ranging itineraries and mix of tropical and European routes, AIDA’s 2027-28 winter season promises something for every traveler - from extended voyages to exotic destinations to shorter regional getaways.
