AIDA Opens New School in Cambodia Through Charity Drive

AIDA Cruises has announced the completion of a new school building in Cambodia, funded through its AIDA Cruise & Help program with donations from guests and crew aboard AIDAstella. The facility will provide 860 children in Sre Noy with better educational opportunities, offering four fully furnished classrooms and upgraded sanitation.
The initiative is part of AIDA’s wider commitment to supporting education in developing countries, particularly in regions connected to its crew and itineraries. Working in collaboration with the Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP, AIDA has now supported more than 75 school construction projects worldwide.
“Our goal is to give as many children and young people as possible access to education and better future prospects,” said Felix Eichhorn, President of AIDA Cruises. The company continues to fundraise for upcoming projects through onboard campaigns across its fleet.
In addition to its school-building initiatives, AIDA is also active in a range of social, cultural, and environmental projects both at home and abroad.
