Carnival Expands 2027-28 Cruises From South Florida

Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled new 2027-28 sailings from Miami and Port Canaveral, highlighting the relocation of the Carnival Venezia to South Florida and additional offerings from the Carnival Magic and Carnival Vista.

The company confirmed in a press release that the new itineraries, now open for booking, include a mix of voyage lengths to the Caribbean.

Carnival Venezia

Starting May 2027, the Carnival Venezia will homeport in Miami after wrapping up a seasonal program from Port Canaveral. The ship will sail six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises through April 2028.

  • Six-day western Caribbean itineraries include Celebration Key, plus calls to Ocho Rios or Montego Bay in Jamaica, along with Grand Cayman, Grand Turk, and Amber Cove.
  • Eight-day voyages feature longer routes with stops in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, and Amber Cove.

Carnival Magic

The Carnival Magic will remain based in Miami, expanding its offerings with six- and eight-day itineraries across the Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean.

  • Destinations include Celebration Key, Amber Cove, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and St. Croix.
  • Southern Caribbean routes highlight Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.

Carnival Vista

From Port Canaveral, the Carnival Vista will operate a year-round schedule of week-long cruises to The Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean, and Western Caribbean.

  • Ports of call include Celebration Key, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, and Isla Tropicale, as well as Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, San Juan, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas.
