Celebrity Cruises Wins Record 25 Wine Spectator Awards
Celebrity Cruises has reached a new milestone after earning 25 Wine Spectator Awards for 2026, the highest number the brand has received to date.
For the first time, the cruise line secured 17 “Best of Award of Excellence” honors, along with eight “Award of Excellence” recognitions.
Celebrity said in a press release that the latest wins bring its total to 165 awards across 14 consecutive years, making its wine program the most awarded at sea.
“Celebrity Cruises constantly redefines the possibilities of food and beverage at sea, and this industry-leading recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence,” said Jan Sorensen, Celebrity Cruises’ vice president of food and beverage operations.
With up to 32 food and beverage venues onboard, we offer something for every guest’s preference, while providing authentic, globally inspired experiences like no other.”
The honors cover ships across Celebrity’s Edge Series, Solstice Series and Millennium Series. Recognized restaurants include Tuscan on Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Beyond, Cyprus on Celebrity Apex, Grand Cuvée on Celebrity Silhouette, and others.
Two venues received recognition for the first time: Trattoria Rossa, which launched with the refreshed Celebrity Solstice in March 2026, and Mosaic on Celebrity Xcel, which entered service in November 2025. Le Voyage was also among the venues honored. The exclusive restaurant from chef Daniel Boulud recently became the first restaurant at sea to receive a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating.
Celebrity said every ship in its fleet offers an extensive wine list along with wine-focused activities for guests. Each restaurant has a trained sommelier available to help passengers choose from more than 500 wines onboard, including well-known labels and Celebrity’s own private-label selections. Guests interested in wine can also join Food and Wine Pairing Workshops and World Wine Tours during their cruise.
