In response to the ongoing challenge of recruiting enough qualified maritime staff, French shipping leader CMA CGM has unveiled CMASHIPS.com, its first worldwide recruitment platform dedicated to seafarers.

This new portal is designed to serve as a centralized access point for mariners from across the globe looking to join the CMA CGM fleet. It unites all of the company’s global recruitment entities—agencies, subsidiaries, and partners—responsible for managing the 13,000 crew members working aboard CMA CGM vessels.

CMASHIPS.com features rich, immersive content, including personal testimonials from current crew members and detailed insights into life and work on board. The platform aims to give aspiring seafarers a transparent look at careers within the company's extensive global shipping network.

“This new website goes far beyond a simple recruitment platform: it opens the way to a meaningful career, driven by commitment and international opportunities,” said Julien Loridon, vice president of CMA SHIPS.

In addition to its recruitment drive, CMA CGM is actively encouraging more women to pursue maritime careers through its She Sails initiative, which supports gender inclusion and professional development for women at sea.
