Cruise Ship Pole Act Ends in Fall, Performer Unharmed VIDEO

Circus artist Marylee Whitlock recently took center stage aboard a cruise ship, performing on an X-Pole. She opened her routine with a confident shoulder mount, but the humid conditions made the pole slippery. While inverting, her hips tipped past her head, causing her to lose her grip and tumble in front of the shocked audience.
Video of the “dramatic” fall quickly spread across social media, where reactions ranged from sympathetic to lighthearted. Among the many comments were: “I thought her head hit the floor,” and “I’ll stay in my room for the rest of the cruise.”
Whitlock later assured fans that she was not seriously hurt. Addressing the risks of her craft, she explained: “Pole dancing is inherently dangerous, and I’ve been trained to deal with such situations. No one should attempt it without professional assistance.”
