MSC Opens Bookings for Upgraded Musica and Orchestra

MSC Cruises has opened reservations for sailings on MSC Musica and MSCOrchestra, both of which are being enhanced to include the MSC Yacht Club.

According to a company statement, MSC Musica will relaunch in November 2026, followed by MSC Orchestra in March 2027. These upgrades are part of MSC Cruises’ wider fleet modernization program, which will expand its ship-within-a-ship concept to 19 vessels.

Following their refurbishments, both ships will introduce several new amenities:

MSC Yacht Club

A private area featuring 63 suites, offering 24-hour butler and concierge services. Guests will also have access to an exclusive Top Sail Lounge, a dedicated restaurant, and a private sundeck equipped with two hot tubs, a grill restaurant, and a bar.

Four suite categories will be available, including a newly designed, spacious two-room Grand Suite.

MSC Gym Powered by Technogym

A new fitness center will feature indoor workout spaces with aft-facing ocean views, as well as dedicated yoga and spinning studios and Technogym equipment.

Dining Options

  • Butcher’s Cut: An American-style steakhouse serving premium meats, including selections from Meat by Linz
  • Kaito Sushi Bar: Offering fresh sushi and authentic Asian cuisine

Redesigned MSC Aurea Spa

The updated spa will include a sauna with panoramic ocean views, steam rooms, a salt room, a Kneipp path, and a relaxation area where guests can unwind with tea.

After its upgrade, MSC Musica will operate in South America from November 2026 through April 2027. It will offer:

  • Three- and four-night cruises to Brazilian ports such as Santos, Buzios, and Ilha Grande
  • Longer eight- to nine-night voyages to Buenos Aires, Montevideo, and Punta del Este

The season will end with a 16-night transatlantic crossing from Santos to Genoa, departing April 1, 2027. Following this, the ship will begin seven-night Mediterranean itineraries during summer 2027, visiting destinations including Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Palermo, Ibiza, Valencia, and Marseille.

MSC Orchestra will debut its upgraded features in March 2027, sailing from Bari, Italy.

The ship will operate in the Eastern Mediterranean, calling at ports such as Izmir and Istanbul in Turkey, as well as Piraeus, Corfu, and Cefalonia/Argostoli in Greece.
