Princess Cruises has added a third sailing to its special 2026 Total Solar Eclipse series, announcing a 14-day Mediterranean & Adriatic cruise aboard the Enchanted Princess departing from Rome.

This newly revealed itinerary joins previously announced eclipse-themed voyages on the Sky Princess (sailing from Southampton on August 8, 2026) and Sun Princess (offering 7-, 14-, and 21-day options from Barcelona and Athens).

Set to sail from August 4 to August 18, 2026, the Enchanted Princess itinerary includes a rich blend of ports:

  • Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
  • Naples (with access to Capri and Pompeii), Italy
  • Kotor, Montenegro
  • Dubrovnik, Croatia
  • Corfu, Greece
  • Messina and Palermo, Sicily
  • Gibraltar
  • Alicante, Spain
  • Barcelona, Spain

“Adding Enchanted Princess to our 2026 solar eclipse lineup allows more guests to be part of this extraordinary moment at sea while exploring breathtaking Mediterranean and Adriatic destinations,” said Terry Thornton, Princess Cruises Chief Commercial Officer. “With limited availability on Sky Princess and Sun Princess, we’re excited to give our guests a new opportunity to be part of this rare astronomical event aboard another of our spectacular ships.”

Guests on board will witness the eclipse from the top decks while wearing specially provided Princess eclipse glasses. The experience will also include lectures by astronomy experts, themed snacks and beverages, nighttime stargazing sessions, solar trivia, and more.

Cruisers are encouraged to bring their own telescopes and dress in eclipse-inspired outfits to fully immerse themselves in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
