Explora I to Return to Monaco for 2026 Grand Prix

Explora Journeys has confirmed that its luxury vessel Explora I will return to Port Hercule in Monaco for the 2026 Formula 1 Grand Prix, continuing the cruise line’s tradition of merging luxury travel with iconic global events.

Monaco Stop Confirmed for 2026

From Wednesday, June 3 to Monday, June 8, 2026, the Explora I—which accommodates 922 guests—will be moored just 150 meters from the legendary street circuit. In 2025, the Explora II was docked trackside during the race weekend.

Guests aboard Explora I will enjoy an ultra-exclusive setting during race weekend, with onboard access to special Formula 1®-themed events. These include appearances and meet-and-greets with legendary drivers, as well as world-class entertainment.

Suite guests will have the chance to elevate their Monaco experience further by adding race-day tickets and VIP hospitality packages to their booking.

In 2025, the onboard celebration included features like a virtual reality race simulator, F1 trivia, miniature race tracks, and high-profile guest appearances from legends such as Sir Jackie Stewart and David Coulthard. Luxury brands Buccellati, Piaget, and Panerai showcased fine jewelry onboard, and each evening featured lively celebrations, themed cocktails, and starlit gatherings.
