Fashion Icons Set Sail for Transatlantic Fashion Week
Cunard has revealed that several of the world’s most renowned figures in fashion are aboard the Queen Mary 2 this week for the return of “Transatlantic Fashion Week.”
The company confirmed that this marks the first edition of the event since 2019. The Queen Mary 2 departed New York for Southampton on October 31, with Christian Siriano leading the lineup. Cunard highlighted that Siriano’s creations have been worn by major celebrities including Lady Gaga, Oprah, and Julia Roberts, among others.
According to Cunard’s press release, Siriano will present two exclusive runway shows in the Queens Room and will also take part in a Q\&A session in the Royal Court Theatre, sharing stories and experiences from his career.
Joining him on board is the legendary designer Bob Mackie, celebrated for dressing icons such as Cher, Diana Ross, Madonna, and Miley Cyrus. Guests will have the opportunity to admire a selection of pieces from Mackie’s personal archive, specially curated for this transatlantic crossing.
Also part of the voyage is supermodel and entrepreneur Coco Rocha, who will share insights from her two-decade career in the fashion industry. With over 100 magazine covers to her name, Rocha has collaborated with many of the world’s leading photographers and graced the runways for fashion houses including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, John Galliano, Prada, Jean Paul Gaultier, Armani, and Marc Jacobs.
