Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines made a return to the Port of Rosyth on June 7, 2025, launching its summer sailing season with the Balmoral. The ship is set to operate eight voyages from the port between June and August, featuring a variety of scenic and cultural itineraries.

The first cruise of the season departed Rosyth on June 7 for a 10-night journey titled Scotland, Scilly Isles and the West Country. The itinerary includes sailings past landmarks such as the Duncansby Sea Stacks, the Needle, the Old Man of Hoy, and Fingal’s Cave.
