Hebrides Cruises, a family-owned small ship operator based in Oban, Scotland, has received national recognition for its culinary offering, earning a Scottish Food & Drink Excellence Award.

The company is committed to celebrating the finest produce from a region renowned for its seafood and local ingredients.

One of the standout itineraries this summer was the four-night In Search of Seafood cruise, which treated guests to oysters and mussels sourced from honesty boxes on the Isle of Mull, as well as crab, langoustine, and lobster delivered directly from local fishing boats.

Other specialties served onboard include hand-dived scallops caught by the cruise line’s owner and captain, Rob Barlow, alongside Glengorm beef, venison, artisan cheeses, and foraged herbs.

Operating three intimate vessels, Hebrides Cruises has been running wildlife-focused journeys to the Inner and Outer Hebrides since 1996.
