Heritage Unveils 18-Day Micronesia and Solomons Expedition
Heritage Expeditions has revealed a new 18-day voyage that will explore remote atolls and islands across Micronesia and the Solomon Islands, the company announced.
Titled Micronesia’s Atolls & Islands Odyssey, the expedition departs on March 27, 2027, and sails from Fiji to Palau via Honiara aboard the 140-guest Heritage Adventurer. The company is offering early booking incentives, with savings of 20 percent on suites and 10 percent on other accommodations for reservations made by February 27, 2026.
Aaron Russ, Heritage Expeditions’ commercial director and an expedition leader, said the journey marks the company’s most ambitious itinerary in the region to date.
“Heritage Expeditions has a long history and connection exploring and supporting the remote communities and tropical islands and atolls of Micronesia and the Solomon Islands, but this might be our most explorative voyage here yet,” he said.
“Micronesia’s Atolls & Islands Odyssey has been specifically designed for intrepid adventurers and travel trailblazers weaving UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves and community driven-conservation initiatives with ancient cities and customs, WWII history and the region’s famed Navigators as we explore some of the world’s most isolated atolls and islands including Ontong Java, Nukuoro, Pohnpei, Sorol and Ngulu Atolls, iconic Chuuk Lagoon and more.”
The expedition program includes snorkeling in untouched reef systems, engaging with ancient cultures, visiting World War II sites, and observing endemic wildlife. The itinerary also features a hotel night at a resort in Fiji and a charter flight to Honiara, according to the company.
